We used Shannon for our wedding in September 2015, and I'm so happy that we did! I was very paranoid about picking a photographer because the photos were the most important thing for me and I had heard a lot of horror stories.... Not only did Harthen Studios take amazing photos, but they were also so much fun to be with through the day! Shannon was with me and my bridesmaids all day, getting some awesome candid shots of us getting ready and goofing around. Her partner, Chris, was with my groom and his groomsmen, taking pics of them hanging out also. Both my husband and I said that it was like having a friend hanging out with us! We immediately felt comfortable with them, and I know that shows in our pictures - we were able to show our personalities, be silly, and really enjoy the moment. And the pictures turned out so beautiful! They did such a great job of capturing the emotion of the day, and looking through the photos is truly like living the day again. Some of the poses they suggested were a little weird to me at the time, but we trusted them and I'm so glad we did because they all turned out so nicely. And the candid shots they got were awesome! They really nailed the whole range of photos - from silly candids, to sweet moments that we didn't think anyone noticed, to beautiful posed pictures. These guys just have a great eye for shots! I had the hardest time picking out which pictures to frame because I honestly love them all. Shannon also offered us great prices on our prints, with a lot of flexibility of how to order. It really was such a pleasure to work with such professionals who you can trust! I'll be recommending Harthen Studios to everyone I can!
