We had recently been in a wedding where we had stood for about 45 minutes before the wedding and over an hour after the wedding taking what seemed like the same photos over and over again.  It was an easy decision that we did not want photos that were completely posed and that we wanted to be able to spend more time with all our friends and family that traveled so far to our wedding - instead of taking pictures.  At the same time, we didn't want to miss out on pictures of anyone there.  Shannon gave us an awesome balance.  We have pictures of so many people and moments at our wedding and reception that I never would have seen without her photography.  We love the authenticity of the photos and the unique perspective.  We also had a lot of fun hanging out with Shannon, she is so easygoing and fun.  Shannon is our #1 recommendation if anyone needs a photographer we love her work!
